Ilan Detayi: About The Role For a lot of people, their first impression of each::labs happens on a feed. We're looking for a Social Media Intern to help own that moment. Someone who already lives on Twitter and LinkedIn, has a gut feel for why one post travels and another flops, and wants a real say in how our voice actually sounds. This isn't the kind of role where a content calendar lands in your inbox and you fill in the blanks. It's for someone who spots a conversation worth joining late on a Tuesday night, has a take ready, and isn't shy about hitting publish. You won't just schedule posts, you'll help decide what we say and how we say it. What You'll Do Help plan, create, and publish content across Twitter and LinkedIn. Stay on top of trends, conversations, and timing, and know when to jump in. Grow our presence by engaging with the right communities and audiences. Bring event experience to the table and help us plan, promote, and run online and offline moments. Draft posts, captions, visuals, videos, and short-form content that sound like us and stand out. Track what's working, learn fast, and double down on it. Who We're Looking For You're probably a good fit if you: Are in your final year of university (or recently graduated). Are genuinely active on Twitter and LinkedIn. You get how each platform works and what performs. Have been involved in student clubs and have organised, planned, or run events. Are creative, proactive, and full of ideas you're not afraid to pitch. Communicate clearly and have strong written skills in English. Are self-directed: you spot an opportunity, pick it up, and run with it. Have working knowledge of Photoshop and Figma. NICE TO HAVE Prior experience managing social media accounts, student communities, or event pages. Familiarity with design or content tools like Canva, Figma, Photoshop, CapCut, or Notion. Familiarity with AI tools and models like ChatGPT or Claude, and actively using them in your day-to-day workflows. Interest in startups, tech, AI, or internet culture. What To Expect Here's the honest version: social is a lot of putting things out there and learning fast from what lands. Some posts will fly, plenty won't, and that back and forth is the job. You'll get your hands on real parts of our presence from the first week, see your ideas go live in front of an actual audience, and watch the numbers tell you what's working. By the time you leave, you'll know what it takes to grow a brand's voice from close to zero, which isn't something many people get to do this early.
