Ilan Detayi: At Cypher Games, we build games with one goal: to create experiences players genuinely enjoy and keep coming back to. We’re looking for highly motivated and analytically strong Product Interns who want to be part of building real player experiences from the ground up. This is a hands-on, long-term role where you’ll contribute to product decisions while taking ownership of player experience and quality. We rely heavily on data and statistical thinking to guide our decisions, and turn insights into playable mechanics. If you’ve ever been curious about how game systems work, from slot machines and luck-based mechanics to skill-based systems, and you enjoy working with numbers, this role is for you. 🚀 What you’ll do Design and iterate on game mechanics, features, and levels Analyze top mobile games to understand what makes them engaging Contribute ideas and turn them into testable features Take ownership of player experience and quality (testing, feedback, improvement) Work closely with design, art, and engineering Continuously test, learn, and iterate 🎯 What makes this role special You’ll work very closely with the core team and founders You’ll contribute directly to product decisions You’ll gain experience across product, analytics, and engineering You’ll have the opportunity to grow into a full Product role over time 🧠 What we’re looking for 3rd or 4th year student Availability to work at least 3 days per week Strong interest in mobile games and player behavior Highly motivated, curious, and eager to learn Ability to think both creatively and analytically Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset 👉 Bonus if: You have a background in engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics, or other STEM fields You’ve built, designed, or analyzed something before You enjoy understanding why certain games succeed We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
